The first solo album from Bunny Wailer was released in 1976 by Island Records.He would later follow up with another album for the label called “Protest,” before permanately jumping ship and releasing more recordings via his own personal imprint, Solomonic Records and much later on he would release albums on Shanchie Records.

I first stumbled upon a copy of this album while browsing through quite a large selection of used reggae LPs. At the time I was somewhat tempted to take it home with me, plus I thought he looked kinda cool on the front cover exhaling da ‘erb smoke……..actually I thought he looked kinda like Huckleberry [...]

From what I gather, this is one of the rarer albums in this living legend’s catalogue. CD copies fetch up from anywhere between twenty four to a hundred odd dollars.
